Privacy Policy

Teoria IE is designed to work without an account, advertising profile or remote learning-data service. Your learning history stays on your device.

1. Controller and scope

The controller is the independent publisher identified as the seller of Teoria IE on its Apple App Store product page (“Teoria”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers the public iOS app and this support site. The support site uses no account, cookies, analytics or contact form.

2. Data stored on your device

The app stores your language and accessibility preferences, question attempts, scheduling state, learning history, mock-test history, locally saved question reports, free-tier usage counts, and a random installation reference. This information is used only to run the app, personalise review and show progress. It is not transmitted to Teoria in the public 1.0 release.

Settings → Privacy & data → Reset learning progress removes local study, mock, report and analytics history but keeps the free-tier usage counts, so resetting progress does not grant another free allowance. Deleting the app removes its local container, subject to Apple-controlled device backups.

3. Question reports

If you report a question in the public 1.0 release, the category, optional note and technical context are saved locally so you can retain a record. The public release has no configured report-upload endpoint. Do not enter personal or sensitive information in a report note.

4. Purchases and Apple services

Apple processes App Store distribution, the lifetime in-app purchase, restore-purchase requests, receipts and entitlement verification under Apple’s own terms. Teoria reads the signed entitlement needed to unlock features and does not receive full payment-card details. Apple may also collect diagnostics or usage data if you separately choose to share it with Apple.

6. Sharing, advertising and tracking

We do not sell personal data, use advertising identifiers, combine app activity with third-party data for advertising, or include third-party advertising/tracking SDKs. We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, health data, photos or microphone recordings.

7. Retention and security

Learning history remains until you reset it or delete the app. Free-tier usage counts remain until app deletion. Purchase records are retained by Apple under its policies. We minimise network functionality and use HTTPS for external links and Apple services. No system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The app is a study aid for people preparing for a driver theory test and is not directed to children. The public release does not create accounts or knowingly collect a child’s personal data.

9. Your choices and rights

You can inspect progress in the app, reset locally stored learning data and delete the app. Because the public 1.0 release does not send learning data to Teoria, Teoria normally has no server-side learning record to access, correct, port or erase. For Apple-held purchase or account data, contact Apple. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. Contact and changes

Use the Teoria IE support page for product guidance and the publisher contact shown on the App Store product page for a direct privacy request. Include the app version and, only if relevant, the local Privacy reference shown in Settings. We will update the effective date here if the app’s data practices change.

Release boundaryDo not enable a telemetry or feedback backend without first updating this policy, the in-app disclosure, consent flow, App Store privacy answers and retention controls.
