Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Teoria IE iOS app. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where mandatory law gives you stronger rights, those rights prevail.

1. Independent study aid

Teoria IE is independently developed. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the Road Safety Authority, Prometric or Driver Theory Test Ireland. It does not book or administer tests and cannot guarantee that you will pass.

2. Safety and current information

The app is for study, not live driving decisions. Road law, signs and test arrangements can change. Always follow current law, road signs, Garda directions and information from authorised Irish bodies. Stop using the app while driving.

3. Content

The app may contain both Teoria-authored material and legacy or third-party-supplied practice material, including translations and images. All third-party rights remain with their respective owners. The publisher must hold written permission covering commercial app distribution before including that material in a public build; source links or attribution alone do not create a licence. The material is presented as independent practice content, not as an official test.

4. Licence and acceptable use

Subject to these terms and Apple’s rules, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on supported Apple devices. You may not resell the app or question bank, operate an automated extraction service, bypass purchase controls, interfere with security, or present Teoria content as an official test.

5. Free use and lifetime unlock

The free experience includes 36 independently answered Study questions and one completed 40-question Mock Test. Retry steps do not consume another Study allowance. Resetting progress does not restore a used free allowance. The lifetime unlock is a single non-consumable in-app purchase tied to your Apple Account and unlocks unlimited Study and new Mock Tests for the supported life of this product. The App Store shows the local price before purchase. There is no subscription.

6. Purchases, restoration and refunds

Apple processes payment and restoration. Use Settings → Access → Restore Purchase on a supported device signed in to the purchasing Apple Account. Refund eligibility and processing are controlled by Apple and applicable law.

7. Availability and updates

We may correct questions, change features or end unsupported functionality for safety, legal, technical or platform reasons. Offline content remains subject to the version installed on your device. Install updates and confirm important facts with current official sources.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free content or a particular exam result. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under applicable Irish and EU consumer law.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using and delete the app at any time. The licence may end if you materially misuse the app or violate these terms. Valid Apple purchase and consumer rights are not removed by this clause.

10. Governing terms and contact

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the App Store seller, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Use the support page and the publisher contact shown on the App Store product page for assistance.
